TIPS;


GOALS; set them and choose your mentors!, not everyone who mentors you with / without your consent is right for you. Incorporating goals in your life will improve your time management;


HOW???


ASK YOURSELF; Who do you want to be, what are your priorities in life and what do you want to achieve in all aspects of your life?


LIST; remembering too many details = information overload. Have a to-do list with specific priorities and timescales.


WORK SMART; Effective time management = quality work, not quantity. Spending more time on a task / project does not necessarily mean you will achieve more, therefore, stop being a busy body & FOCUS on achieving results.

EXERCISE YOUR BREAK; This is your opportunity to relax and divert your focus elsewhere for 30 mins / 1 hour, when you get back to your work at hand, you will have a rejuvenated overview.

Do not be caught up in the e-mail stress bug. Manage them in this format;

DELETE: emails, which have no link to what you are doing.
DEAL: with urgent emails ASAP.
DELEGATE: if the email is meant for / can be dealt better by someone else.
DEFER: emails which have a longer timescale to be dealt with.
